Dear teachers and parents, this is a book that is being written 195 years too late. It must have been printed together with the 1824 Constitution. If not so, at least in 1884, when Porfirio Diaz ordered the publication of the book "Mexico through the centuries". But indisputably, it must have been published in 1921, with the SEP creation of the SEP, with José Vasconcelos.

The Mexican State, deliberately, has tried to disappear more than ten thousand years of our history. We are one of the six oldest civilizations of mankind, contemporary with China and India. However, unlike these countries that build their reality and design their future on the basis of their ancient civilizations, the Mexican State has opted for a cultural policy of "disappearing ancestral history", and base this great past, only in the existence of a Mexican culture, with only 196 years of existence, from the founding of Tenochtitlan in 1325, until its destruction in 1521. This limited period of history, has been called in a colonial fashion, "Prehispanic history", based on the invaders version without criticism, and the recreation of Hispanic historians. Not only it has missed a critical and nationalist analysis, but history has been distorted, to make our ancestors primitives, warriors, cannibals and idolaters. And the invasion as a heroic act, humanist and necessary.
