From the ancient Mayan language: hunab ku, translates as "giver of movement and measure". Consists of: hun, "unique", "only"; nab, "measure" and "movement" and ku or kub, "giver". The Anahuac civilization is only one, regardless of how many different cultures in time and space represent it. So that the Maya, Nahua or Zapotec, just to mention three of the more than two hundred peoples that existed prior to the European invasion and occupation. So by having the same " philosophical-cultural matrix" known as Toltecáyotl, we are not in front of "different civilizations", i.e., the Maya are not a civilization in themselves, are on the other hand, part of a whole entity known as civilization of the Cem Ānáhuac.
So the philosophical-spiritual concept of Hunab Ku, "giver of movement and measure", is not only creation of the Mayan culture, in the nahuatl language (lingua franca of the Cem Ānáhuac for thousands of years) is named as Tloque Nahuaque. As well as Chac, representing the world luminous energy symbolized by water, also exists in the Zapotec culture with the name of Cosijo, and likewise found in the nahua culture named Tlaloc. All three share the same philosophical-religious root, but each culture represented it ichnographically differently, however all three concur in depicting a sort of goggles and a snake tongue.
The philosophical conception of "the immeasurable", that supreme consciousness or primordial energy the anahuacas determined that it had no name, no form, which was totally abstract and incomprehensible for the limited human possibilities. So while for the 16th century spaniards called it "God father", Jehovah and depicted him as an old man sitting on a throne, holding a cross in the right hand and on the left a globe. Peoples of the Cem Ānáhuac, the anahuacas thirty centuries before said that it was invisible and impalpable, as wind and the night or metaphorically called him "He for whom one lives". So that he could not be represented, which implies that the anahuacas were not idolatrous. The nahuatl language concept of "teotl" does not mean God, although it was translated as such by the first missionaries.
Our ancestors had Hunab Ku or Tloque Nahuaque or whichever way called in other anahuaca languages. The concept of a single, immeasurable, invisible, impalpable and nameless force was their superior reference in the divine and sacred realm. The different names or manifestations of this supreme reality were represented symbolically. These different symbolism or invocations of a single reality, the missionaries, because of their short vision or fanaticism called them "gods", justifying their inferiority concept of the anahuacas millennial endogenous religion, against the religious syncretism and the multiple transgressions suffered the Christian sect, arising from Judaism, when adopted by the different local religions of the peoples of Europe and by Rome as a State religion.
The confusion arises because the first researchers have been foreigners, and they, always we have "studied us by our differences, not our similarities". So they see the Cem Ānáhuac as an "archipelago instead of a continent", and their "Mexican colleagues" totally submitted and colonized, repeat their mistakes until turning them into the "official truth".
So for the Maya and all the other peoples of the Anahuac, Hunab Ku was the center of everything in the Galaxy, and in turn, the heart and the mind of the creator, there and through the Sun, directed their gaze to study the stars. Hunab Ku, is the center and there were minor "essences". The Tlamatinime and the people of knowledge understood the integrality of the universe with Earth and human life. Nothing was separated and everything was complementing. And there was a consciousness or "superior energy" that was at the center of the "unfathomable".
The anahuacas, knew that their heart and mind were in the center of the universe and only through the Sun could communicate with it. Considered the center of the Galaxy, and in turn, the heart and mind of the creator. Creator of the world and the human being, built the world three times: the first time was inhabited by geniuses. The second time by the dzolob, a sinister and dark race, and the third and last by the anahuacas.
For some reason, approximately in the year 850 AD at the apex of their brilliant civilization, they departed from their cities that were destroyed, burned, covered ground or simply abandoned, leaving behind magnificent constructions, astronomical observatories, works of art, hundreds of monuments and stelae... and disappeared, without us knowing how were destroyed, why did they do it and where they went. It is known that they left guardians of their research and study centers, today known as "archaeological zones", and that they preserve the valuable manuscripts hidden until now. Some of the knowledge centers were repopulated by other peoples, but the majority of these research and study centers were covered and many of them remain under the ground without being "discovered".
As the material legacy of the Anahuac civilization is discovered, we are amazed with by these developed astronomers, mathematicians, physicists, incredible engineers, builders of timeless monuments; yet westerners considered that they possessed a superficial and naive world, backward and primitive vision. In the light of anahuacas cultures findings, we perceive with real astonishment that in some ways they were more advanced than current scientists, and had an advantage of nearly a thousand years over other civilizations, and much before their contemporary civilizations of the time, the anahuacas dominated a binary exponential numeric system, based on the number 2. Already 500 years before the Arabs, used the concept of 0, and their calendar which synchronizes with the Sun, the Moon and Earth with the universe, is more accurate than the one we currently use. Moreover, their astronomical measures proved to be so exact, that comparing them with the measures taken by NASA (US Aerospace Center) are barely different in thousandths of a second; for example: according to the anahuacas, the complete rotation of the earth around the Sun is 365,2420; While NASA measured it as 365,2422.
The anahuacas maintained the belief that from the center of the Galaxy (Hunab Ku), every 5,125 years, surges a “Synchronizing Beam", which precisely synchronizes the Sun and all the planets, with a powerful energy emanation.
In the full rotation of the solar system in the Galaxy, they divided the ellipse in two, with a fraction each of 12,812 years, calling the fraction closest to the center of the Galaxy, day, and the farthest from Hunab Ku; Night, such as day and night are divided on Earth. At the same time, the ellipse was split into five periods of 5,125 years each: which were: morning, noon, afternoon, sunset and night. According to our ancient anahuaca grandparents, precisely in our new millennium, will be entering in the Galactic morning, and it is marked by a Synchronizing Beam from Hunab Ku.
The men and women of knowledge tell us that the intermediate period to the transfer, lasts 20 years, and they call it "The time of the no-time", where big changes will occur. It is then when we should be able to transform, because it will be our decision to continue as humanity or perish in our self-destruction.
We find a calendar that ends abruptly, after a count of 25,000 years, precisely in the change of our millennium. Along with that calendar.
It is logical to assume that this may be a coincidence, and the prophecies, aimed at people who would be born hundreds of years later, can only be part of a myth that is misunderstood by those who have begun to decipher Maya writing; In addition, their strange disappearance, without a trace, raises questions about a people without a known future in their own time, however, announces a future to another phase of human civilization. Their prophecies have scientific bases, and although few initiates receive barely perceptible calls, they assure are received, few know the almost imperceptible calls of attention they are receiving and received by those able to interpret them, and that experience shows that such prophecies are being fulfilled.
Our ancestors give us indeed a message of hope, because they tell us that this time is the "end of fear". If we are able to face this new destiny, we can survive as a species and civilization, but time is running and we have to decide, the first prophecy, marks the last 13 years, counting from the moment of the sun annular eclipse of 11 August 1999, (also announced in their measurements), in which each individual should decide on humanity; before Saturday, December 22, 2012, which will be the last day, according to the Toltec ancient grandparents.
The symbol known as Hunab Ku, is located in the 16th century Magliabechiano Codex and in the reproduction made by Zelia Nuttall. It is painted in a blanket and has an inscription which says "sand and water". Subsequently was associated with the milky way and the "God Hunab Ku" by Jose Arguelles in 1987 in his book the “El Factor Maya” (Mayan Factor), who changed the symbol to a circular one.
However, the symbol in question is typical of all Cem Ānáhuac cultures and not only of the Maya. It is composed of four butterflies, pointing to the four directions of the existence, set as "complementing opposing pairs", black on white and white on black, i.e., material and immaterial, iconographic concept that clearly presents the principle dialectic of the pair of complementing opposites.
It is necessary to know that in the Anahuac Toltec mythology, "male and female warriors of the flowered death" are represented with a butterfly on the chest. Symbol that implies that the human being is a cocoon in evolution-transformation and that from the "Flowered battle", warriors come out victorious from their cocoon turned into butterflies that rise in search of heaven. We can see the butterfly on the chest of the called Atlantes of Tula, Coatlicue and Chac Mol.
In the center of the drawing, of the four butterflies, arises the symbol of the snail cut transversely, which is the symbol par excellence of Quetzalcoatl, and that brings us back to the idea of the "divine blow that gives consciousness to matter".
The symbol fully represents the guiding principle of Toltecáyotl, as "the art of living in balance". Balance is achieved through "measure", at the same time, measure is obtained from the movement of the stars or celestial mechanics. That is why Hunab Ku means "giver of movement and measure" for the Anahuac civilization and its different cultures in time and space, but all united by the Toltecáyotl philosophical-cultural matrix.
